Description
What this worksheet helps you understand
Breakup pain can come from more than one place. You may genuinely be grieving the person and the relationship, or the breakup may have hit something deeper around rejection, not being chosen, or not feeling good enough. Sometimes it’s both. This worksheet helps you separate those experiences so you can get a clearer sense of what may be driving the pain for you right now.
What’s inside
You’ll complete two short sections:
Part 1: Is this grief?
Questions around missing the person, the ordinary parts of the relationship, their presence in your life, and the sadness of the chapter ending.
Part 2: Has the breakup hit your self-worth?
Questions around feeling rejected, comparing yourself to who they may choose next, analysing what you did wrong, wanting to prove your worth, or feeling like the breakup says something about you. You then score both sections to see whether your breakup pain appears to be leaning more towards grief, self-worth, or a mixture of both.
And you don’t just get a score
Depending on your result, you’ll also get reflections to help you think about what may need your attention next, whether that means allowing yourself to grieve what you lost, rebuilding the parts of your self-worth that the breakup shook, or working on both at the same time.

Because you can spend months trying to “heal” a breakup without really knowing what you’re trying to heal.
Stop guessing. Get clearer on what is hurting and start working with the right thing.
