I’m a Counselling Psychologist with a doctorate from City University London and experience across NHS and private practice settings. I work with adults facing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, burnout, anxiety, eating disorders, low self-esteem, and relational difficulties.
My approach is integrative and person-centred. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I aim to understand the whole person—your experiences, your relationships, your history, and the ways you’ve learned to adapt to life’s challenges. I see emotional distress as something that often has roots in earlier life experiences, shaped by the environments we grew up in and the ways we’ve learned to survive. These patterns—while once necessary—can become limiting or painful in the present.
Therapy offers a space to explore these experiences in depth. Whether we’re working with anxiety, trauma, or a general sense of feeling stuck, my focus is on helping you better understand yourself, relate differently to what you’re feeling, and move toward the life and relationships you want. For many clients, this involves reprocessing past experiences that continue to impact them today—whether through patterns of self-doubt, difficulties with trust, or struggles in managing stress and overwhelm.
When helpful, I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support deeper trauma work, especially when talking alone hasn’t felt enough. I also draw on models such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic and existential approaches. This allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals—whether that’s building confidence, recovering from burnout, improving relationships, or navigating a difficult life transition.
Above all, I aim to offer a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported—where the goal isn’t just to reduce distress, but to help you connect more fully with who you are and how you want to live.
